§ 97.18  INSPECTION OF PUBLIC BUILDINGS.
   The City Fire Chief, or an officer of the City Fire Department authorized by the City Fire Chief, shall make regular inspection of all buildings of the city open to the public. Two inspections per year shall be made of all buildings within the fire limits of the city and one inspection shall be made each year for all other buildings within the city. The Fire Chief, upon complaint of any person, shall inspect any buildings and premises, except private dwellings, and make any order necessary so that the building or premise adheres to the provisions of this chapter.
