The rules and regulations promulgated by the Office of the State Fire Marshal relating to fire prevention are hereby incorporated into this code by reference thereto and shall, to the extent that the same are applicable to the city, and together with all subsequent amendments thereto, have the same force and effect as if set out verbatim herein, one copy of the standards is on file at the office of the City Clerk and shall there be available for the use and examination of the public. It shall be the duty of all city officials, agents and employees to assist in the enforcement of the herein incorporated standards and to bring all infractions thereof to the immediate attention of the City Fire Chief.
