The intent of this provision permitting home occupations in residential areas of the village is to allow residents to work from their homes in occupations that generate no disruptions to a neighborhood. Further, the second intent is to authorize residents to have an opportunity to birth a small business and bring it to the point of being able to supply an income to allow it to move to another district. The home occupations are to be set up as to be not apparent beyond the boundaries of the site, except for the sign allowed in residential districts. (See § 155.246 of this chapter.)
