§ 71.56 VIOLATIONS; RESPONSIBILITY FOR MINORS.
   Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this subchapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to penalties for each offense as provided in § 70.99 of this code, except children under the age of 12 years, whereupon after one warning by the police of a violation by the minor of this subchapter, the parents, guardian, or person controlling any such child under 12 years old shall be liable for all subsequent violations by that 12-year-old child or children and upon conviction thereof, be subject to a penalty for each offense.
