§ 71.54 BELL OR HORN; HEADLIGHT.
   All bicycles so operated upon any sidewalk or other portion of any public street or place, shall be equipped with a bell or horn, capable of being heard at a distance of 100 feet and which shall be sounded not less than 50 feet from any pedestrian or vehicle about to be met or overtaken upon the sidewalk, and in addition, shall also be equipped with a headlight which can be seen for at least 200 feet ahead at all hours when motor vehicles by statute, or this code, are to have lights thereon.
