§ 70.50 OPERATION.
   (A)   Golf carts may only be driven on the roadway or alley ways. Golf cart operation is prohibited on sidewalks, walking paths, grass rights-of-way, and any private property without the owner’s consent; and on town park property, except areas designated for vehicular parking.
   (B)   Golf carts are prohibited from being operated on State Road 19, except to cross the roadway or to exit driveways located on State Road 19 to proceed to the nearest intersection. Golf carts operated on State Road 19 must travel in the emergency lane, to the right of the normal travel portion of the roadway.
   (C)   Golf carts shall not be operated on any public street or alleyway between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
   (D)   Golf carts may not be operated at a speed greater than 20 miles per hour.
   (E)   The operator of a golf cart shall comply with all traffic rules and regulations adopted by the state and the town that govern the operation of motor vehicles.
   (F)   Golf carts shall be driven as close as possible to the right edge of the street.
   (G)   Golf carts shall adhere to the same parking rules and regulations as other motor vehicles.
   (H)   All passengers riding on a golf cart shall be seated in a seat attached to the golf cart.
   (I)   Except for emergency personnel and/or event staff personnel, no golf carts may be driven on the roadways, alleys, or on any other right-of-way of the town during the New Earth Festival, without a written permit issued by the Police Department.
