A. Any person who shall violate provisions of section 6-1-3 of this chapter or who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit provided in section 6-1-6 of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in an amount up to one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for each violation. Each day in which any such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense. (Ord. O-5-73, 2-20-1973; amd. Ord. 02-2015, 4-13-2015)
B. Any person violating any of the provisions of this title, in addition to the fine provided in subsection A of this section, shall become liable to the city for any expense, loss, or damage occasioned by the city by reason of such violation, whether the same was caused before or after notice.
C. In case any violation of the provisions of this title continues beyond the time given the user under section 6-1-6 of this chapter, the superintendent may cut off the user's connection into the waterworks and sewerage system. (Ord. O-5-73, 2-20-1973)
