§ 1420.21 VIOLATIONS; ABATEMENT OF NUISANCES.
   (a)   Violations. No owner, tenant, builder, contractor, architect, worker or other person shall erect, alter, remove or repair, or do or cause to be done any work in erection, alteration, removal or repair of, any building without the permit required by this chapter first having been obtained, nor shall any such person fail to comply with any of the requirements of the permit or of this chapter, or fail to comply with any order or direction of the Building Inspector made in conformity with the provisions of this chapter, or in any way violate any of the provisions of this chapter. Whenever any such person has been notified by the Building Inspector or by service of summons of prosecution or in any other way that he or she has committed such a violation, each day that he or she continues in such violation shall constitute a separate offense punishable as such.
   (b)   Abatement of nuisances. Any building or part thereof or structure erected, altered, reconstructed, repaired or removed contrary to the provisions of this chapter is hereby declared to be a public nuisance and abatable as such.
