§ 1050.12 PERFORMANCE BOND.
   (a)   All persons operating or maintaining a telecommunications system in accordance herewith shall file with their request a bond solely for the protection of the township with a surety company that is licensed to do business in the state in an amount determined by the township. The bond shall ensure the person’s faithful performance of its obligations contained in this chapter. The bond shall be a continuing obligation. The amount of the bond shall be determined by the township in accordance with applicable standards and will be included in the permit.
   (b)   None of the provisions of this section, nor any bond accepted by the township pursuant hereto, nor any damages recovered by the township thereunder shall be construed to excuse the faithful performance by or limit the liability of any person under this chapter or any permit issued in accordance herewith or for damages either to the full amount of the bond or otherwise.
