(a) The Board of Township Commissioners shall, from time to time, by resolution, require the numbering of buildings on certain streets, roads, lanes and highways in a definite sequence.
(b) When any owner, tenant or occupier of any building, pursuant to a resolution duly adopted, is notified of the number assigned to the building owned, leased or occupied by him or her, he or she shall, within ten days after such notification, cause to be displayed on such property or on the curb, where curbs are placed, in a position which may be conveniently viewed from the sidewalk or street, the number so assigned.
