Subject to the approval of the Board of Township Commissioners, the Township Manager may designate a qualified township employee to act as Manager, and exercise the duties of Manager, during his or her temporary absence or disability. During such absence or disability, the Board may remove such designated person, at any time, and appoint another person as Acting Manager to serve until the Manager returns or his or her disability ceases.
