Any violation of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine in the amount set forth by the Board of Commissioners in the fee resolution, plus costs of prosecution, and, in default of such fine and costs, by imprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding 30 days. Each violation of any provision of this chapter shall be deemed to be a separate and distinct offense.
