§ 1062.07 RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE VETERAN’S MEMORIAL GARDEN AND OTHER MEMORIAL GROUNDS.
   (a)   Memorial grounds policy.
      (1)   The Veteran’s Memorial Garden is dedicated to honor America’s veterans, members of its military forces and those who have served in our emergency services. It is considered a sacred location for veterans, military members, members of our emergency services, family members, and friends to remember, respect, and honor those who have served or are serving our country and community. The Memorial Grounds are intended to provide a healing environment for veterans, military members, members of our emergency services, their families and friends.
      (2)   This policy also applies to the neighborhood War Memorials at Rosalie Lane. Dutton Mill Road, New Road, Mount Road and any such future memorials as may be designated by the Aston Township Board of Commissioners.
   (b)   Memorial grounds regulations. In addition to the regulations otherwise specified in this chapter, the Aston Township Board of Commissioners prohibits demonstrations, exhibitions, displays or protests, of any kind, other than those activities which honor the policy of the memorial and for which a permit has been issued by the Aston Township Code Enforcement Office.
