§ 1860.08 VEGETATION; WEED CONTROL.
   (a)   No person owning or occupying any property within the township on which there is a dwelling, or which is adjacent to a dwelling, or which is located in an occupied section of a subdivision, or which abuts a public road or highway, shall permit any grass or weeds or any vegetation, not edible or planted for ornamental purposes, to grow or remain upon such premises so as to exceed a height of six inches, or to throw off any unpleasant or noxious odor, or to conceal any filthy deposit or to create or produce pollen.
   (b)   The provisions of this section shall not apply to land that is used primarily for agriculture, farming or livestock grazing or feeding, or to areas used for flood control or necessary for the protection of wildlife.
   (c)   In all nonresidential areas and districts of the township as designated on the official zoning map of the township, from April 1 through October 31 of each year, grass shall not go uncut for more than 30 consecutive days.
   (d)   Vegetation within any area where vegetation is permitted to grow for a use such as livestock feed, bedding or any other use where it is harvested, shall be permitted to grow to its mature state, provided that such fields have been designated to the township as to their intended use. All such vegetation shall be cut, baled and stored not later than November 1.
   (e)   Any grass, weeds or other vegetation growing upon any premises in the township in violation of any of the provisions of this section is hereby declared to be a nuisance and detrimental to the health, safety, cleanliness and comfort of the inhabitants of the township.
