§ 1856.07 RODENT INFESTATION; ABATEMENT; HEARING.
   Whenever it appears to the Board of Health that a dangerous or unsanitary health condition exists in a building because of rodent infestation, the Board shall file with the Secretary of the township a complaint to that effect. The Secretary shall issue an order directed to the owner of such building and any person in possession thereof, requiring them to show cause, at a time specified therein, why it should not be determined that such condition is a health menace and a public nuisance. The Board of Health shall cause copies of such order and complaint to be served upon such owner and any person in possession of such building at least ten days prior to such hearing. The owner and persons in possession of such building shall have the right to file an answer to the complaint and to appear in person, or otherwise, and give testimony at the hearing to be held before the Board of Township Commissioners, Any person desiring to do so may attend such hearing and give evidence relative to the matter being heard. The Board of Township Commissioners shall, on the basis of the evidence submitted at the hearing, determine whether or not such a building constitutes a public nuisance by reason of rodent infestation. If the Board of Township Commissioners determines that such building is a public nuisance by reason of rodent infestation, the Board of Township Commissioners shall order such condition abated.
