This Health and Sanitation Code is adopted to:
(a) Prevent the introduction and spread of infectious or contagious disease by the inspection and regulation of public eating and drinking places, the regulation of intercourse with infected places and the separation of infected persons and persons who have been exposed to any infectious or contagious disease;
(b) Provide for the inspection and regulation of food, milk, milk products and frozen dairy products;
(c) Abate and remove nuisances prejudicial to public health; and
(d) Provide uniform and comprehensive requirements and regulations for the protection of the health of the residents of the township.
