This chapter applies uniformly to the maintenance and use of all nonresidential buildings, structures and premises, including individual commercial, industrial and institutional uses and uses included in shopping centers and industrial parks. This chapter applies uniformly to existing buildings, structures and premises, irrespective of when or under what codes such buildings were originally constructed, altered or repaired, and to all buildings and structures hereafter constructed.
