A license issued pursuant to this chapter shall not be construed to authorize the licensee to perform any particular type of work or type of business which is reserved to qualified licensees under other provisions of state or local law. It is further understood that the township, by issuance of a license, does not warrant the quality of a contractor’s work or that the contractor meets any established minimum standards for quality or competence within his or her field.
