Any person violating any of the provisions of sections 5.08.010 through 5.08.090 of this chapter shall be guilty of a criminal offense and upon conviction thereof be fined in any sum not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100.00) plus costs of prosecution, or be imprisoned in the City Jail for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. In event such fine and costs are not paid, the person convicted of such offense shall be confined in the City Jail for the payment thereof at the rate of five dollars ($5.00) per day.
