The City Parks and Recreation Board shall meet monthly in the Ashtabula City Municipal Building on a date and time designated by the Board at their last monthly meeting of the preceding year. A majority vote of the Board shall serve to designate another date and/or time in accordance with the Ohio Sunshine Law/Open Meetings Act. The City Manager, Clerk of Council, and all other persons requesting notice of said meetings shall receive such via email, unless otherwise requested. The Board shall adopt its own rules of procedure and the Secretary of the Board shall keep a record of its proceedings, copies of which shall be given to the Clerk of Council and the City Manager's Executive Assistant. A majority of currently-appointed members shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. Absence from three (3) consecutive meetings shall act as an irrevocable resignation from the Board, unless one or more of said absences is excused by vote of a majority of the other members of the Board for good cause.
