A Housing Inspector, the Housing Director or designee, or any law enforcement officer is authorized and directed to issue citations requiring the cited individual to appear before the Municipal Court for the purpose of entering a plea of guilty, not guilty or no contest to the criminal charge of violating specific provisions of the Housing Code.
