1361.16 FAILURE TO COMPLY; CITY REMEDIAL COSTS A LIEN.
If the owner, occupant or lessee fails to comply with the order of the Housing Division or the action of the Housing Appeals Board after hearing, the Housing Division may cause the premises, building, dwelling, other structures, or parts thereof, to be vacated, and repaired, fumigated, cleaned, cleared, secured or demolished as the facts may warrant. The costs of the repair, fumigation, cleaning, clearing, securing or demolition shall be charged against the land where the remedial action was taken as a municipal lien to be collected as and with real estate taxes assessed by the City, or shall be recovered in a suit at law against the owner.
