Numbers shall be a minimum of four (4) inches high. Numbers shall be assigned to each building by the Division of Planning & Community Development at the time a building permit is issued for such building. It shall be the duty of the owner of the building to place the numbers thereon in accordance with the provisions of this chapter as soon as the building is ready for occupancy. However, the owner of any building having knowledge of the number assigned by the City may install such ornamental or illuminated number as the owner may desire, as long as the requirements of this Section are met.
