1315.06 SEALING OFF UTILITY LINES; FILLING OPENINGS AFTER APPROVAL.
Whenever any building or structure has been demolished or removed from a site, all water, gas and sanitary or storm sewer lines serving the building or structure shall, within twenty-four hours from the date of completion of the removal or demolition, be completely sealed so that no leakage may result from disconnection of the lines or any infiltration of water permitted therein. It shall be the duty of the owner or his agent to immediately inform the Building Inspector of the completion of the demolition or removal of the building or structure and, upon approval of the sealing of the water, gas and sanitary or storm sewer lines, to proceed with the filling and leveling off of the basement, cellar or other abandoned openings.
