§ 101.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Except as provided in this section, in addition to any other sanction or remedial procedure that may be available, the person in charge is subject to a civil penalty of up to $500 per day from the date of the notice issued pursuant to § 101.03 until the Chief of Police confirms that the property is no longer a chronic nuisance property.
   (B)   If the agreed course of action results in the abatement of nuisance activities to the satisfaction of the Chief of Police within 30 days of the notice issued pursuant to § 101.03(A), or such longer period as may be allowed by the Chief of Police pursuant to § 101.03(D), the matter shall be referred to the City of Ashland Corporation Counsel and the person in charge shall not be subject to any penalty pursuant to this chapter.
   (C)   An owner who fails to comply with §§ 101.03 through 101.05 is subject to a civil penalty as set forth in division (A) above up to a maximum of $25,000.
