§ 96.04 CLOSING HOURS.
   (A)   Closing hours for Central Park, Dawson Park, Oliverio Park and all other city parks are hereby fixed at 11:00 p.m. each night and such parks shall remain closed from the hour indicated until 7:00 a.m. the following day.
   (B)   Lights shall be turned off by 10:30 p.m. on all baseball diamonds, softball diamonds, and tennis courts.
   (C)   Civic or other non-profit special interest groups may request an extension of such hours from the Parks and Recreation Director. The Parks and Recreation Director shall consult with the Park Board and forward any recommendation to the City Manager. No extension shall exist until such time it is approved by the Board of City Commissioners.
   (D)   During the hours such parks are closed, no person shall remain in or enter the premises except city maintenance employees, officials of the city, and law enforcement officers, who shall have the right to enter upon such premises for purposes of patrolling, enforcing the law, or other appropriate administrative purposes.
   (E)   During the hours such parks are closed, it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to park and leave standing any vehicle inside the park. Any person, firm or corporation violating these terms who choose to prepay the administrative penalty, the rate shall not be less than $10. All administrative penalties derived from the enforcement of this division (E) shall be paid into the general fund of the city for the purpose of defraying the cost of general government.
