§ 37.170 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purposes of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   APPLICANT. A business entity applying for occupational license fee withholdings rebate pursuant to this subchapter.
   APPROVED APPLICANT. An applicant approved by the city.
   ASHLAND BUSINESS GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. The “Program.” The Economic Development Incentives Program created by this subchapter.
   ASHLAND MAIN STREET AREA. The area designated in Exhibit A to Ord. 2-2014, passed 12-12-2013.
   BUSINESS ENTITY. A sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability company, corporation, or other similar organization qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
   COMMITTEE. The Ashland Business Growth and Development Committee.
   DIRECTOR. The Economic Development Director.
   OCCUPATIONAL TAX. The occupational license fee withholdings (payroll tax) from an employee’s wages, salaries, bonuses or commissions.
