(A) Property where methamphetamine has been manufactured shall remain condemned, placarded, and unoccupied as set forth above until such time as there has been presented to the city’s department of codes enforcement the written certification, from a contractor certified within the meaning of KRS 224.01.410(4)(a), that the property either:
(1) Upon inspection met the decontamination standard for methamphetamine and/or methamphetamine precursors; or
(2) Has undergone decontamination procedures which have resulted in the property’s meeting the decontamination standard for methamphetamine and/or methamphetamine precursors.
(B) At such time as such written certification has been produced to the city’s department of code enforcement, the codes official shall remove the condemnation placard and, provided that the property is otherwise in conformity with applicable code requirements, the property may then be occupied.
