(A) When property where methamphetamine has been manufactured has been identified, the city’s codes enforcement personnel shall:
(1) Except in the case of an individual room in a bed and breakfast facility or in a hotel or motel, post on such property in a conspicuous location a placard bearing the word “Condemned”;
(2) Require that the property be vacated;
(3) Serve on the owner of such property or the person responsible for the property or the management thereof a notice stating:
(a) That the property has been condemned and declared unfit for human occupancy;
(b) The reason for such condemnation and declaration;
(c) That the property shall remain condemned, unoccupied, and declared to be unfit for human occupancy until such time as abatement as hereinafter set forth has taken place;
(d) The steps required to effect abatement as hereinafter set forth.
(B) Any property where methamphetamine has been manufactured and condemned by the codes enforcement official shall be immediately vacated as ordered by the codes enforcement official. Any person who shall occupy property so condemned, and any owner or person responsible for the property or the management thereof who shall permit the occupation of such condemned property, shall be guilty of a violation.
