The Ashland Fire Department has received one or mor false fire alarms at the above address, as defined in the False Alarm Policy adopted by the City of Ashland in Ordinance No. 40, 2012. Each false fire alarm reduces available resources for other emergencies and places the public and fire personnel in needless danger. City ordinance allows for two false alarms per calendar year. Additional false alarms may result in a citation and fines as follows:

   Third false alarm      $500

   Fourth false alarm      $1,000

   Fifth false alarm      $1,500

Any false alarms prior to this letter will be counted as one false alarm and one additional alarm will be permitted without citation or fees.
