§ 154.56 COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS OR POSTING OF BOND BEFORE FILING FINAL PLAT.
   (A)   All of the improvements required under this chapter shall be constructed under contract approved by the Planning Commission, on recommendation of the Director of Public Works, and shall be completed prior to the filing with the Planning Commission of the final or record plat and request for final approval, in accordance with the specifications and under the supervision of the officials having jurisdiction.
   (B)   In lieu of completing the improvements as required in division (A) above, the subdivider shall furnish the Planning Commission with cash, negotiable securities, or a surety bond, sufficient to cover the cost of any or all of the improvements required to be installed by the subdivider, based on an estimate approved by the Director of Public Works. The bond shall be to secure the actual construction and installation of the improvements within one year after the final approval of the final plat, subject to extension by the Commission.
