In case any building or structure is erected, constructed, reconstructed, repaired, converted or maintained, or any building, structure or land is used in violation of this subchapter, the city, its Building Inspector, or other authorized officer, agent, board or commission, or any property owner who would be damaged by the violation, in addition to other remedies provided by law, may institute injunction, mandamus, abatement or other appropriate action to prevent, enjoin, abate or remove the unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, maintenance or use.
