(A) Impounding of motor vehicles. Nothing in this chapter shall prohibit owners of private parking lots from removing, by towing, vehicles parked on such private parking lots without the owner's consent.
(B) A representative of an organization, agency, firm or person that has a vehicle towed from any location within the city corporate limits forimpoundment shall notify the Police Department within two (2) hours of the towing and shall provide make, model, license number, and other pertinent information to assist the police in identifying the vehicle and ownership.
