Regulations of cemetery operations shall be as follows:
(A) The cemetery shall have the authority to remove all decorations, ornamentations and similar articles from said lot as soon as, in the judgment of the cemetery personnel, they become unsightly, dangerous, or detrimental.
(B) The cemetery rates and fees may be obtained from the cemetery office.
(C) The cemetery is not liable for any injury sustained by a person or persons while visiting the cemetery proper, vandalism, theft, or other unlawful acts against the deceased’s remains, grave sites, stones, and the like.
(D) Vandalism of trees, shrubs, flowers or plants is forbidden within the cemetery.
(E) Seasonal decorations not removed by family members may be removed by the cemetery personnel after the end of the season. Memorial Day ground operations cease for a period of one week to allow for decorations.
(F) Any monument, structure, or any inscription placed within the cemetery to be deemed offensive, improper, or harmful shall be removed.
(G) No grave marker or monument shall be erected of any material other than stone or bronze. Properties are to be paid in full prior to any monument/marker being placed.
(H) If an owner chooses to sell his or her site(s) or lot(s), it is the owner’s responsibility to notify the cemetery. Upon sale, copies of the legal documents shall be given to the cemetery for its records. A transfer of property shall be granted within the cemetery office at a rate not less than $10.
(I) The Cemetery Board and City Board of Commissioners hereby expressly reserves the right, at any time, to adopt new policies and procedures as it deems necessary for the care of the cemetery and protection of the owners.
(J) All foundations for memorial markers shall be installed by the cemetery personnel. The cemetery will provide installation at a rate determined by the Cemetery Board with approval from the City Board of Commissioners. The cemetery shall direct the size of the foundation for the memorial marker depending on the lot location and size. All installation charges are to be paid in advance.
