Every projecting sign shall be placed at least ten feet above the public sidewalk or public ground over which it is erected and shall extend a distance not greater than ten feet from the face of the wall to which it is attached or the property line. No sign or part thereof shall extend nearer the curb line than 1-1/2 feet.
