(A) All homes, businesses, private meeting houses, industrial structures, addressed agricultural structures and addressed recreational vehicles shall have displayed address numbers that are no less than four inches tall, are on a background that contrasts with the color scheme of the structure and are of a reflective material that, when possible, is clearly legible from the road on which the address is derived.
(B) The address numbers shall be installed on the front of the structure, preferably near the front door. In all cases, a number size larger than the minimum size may be required in an instance where the minimum size does not provide adequate identification.
(C) For new construction, the Building Inspector shall not issue a certificate of occupancy or one of compliance until the assigned number is properly exhibited.
