§ 50.078 SPECIFIC MATERIALS PROHIBITED IN SANITARY. SEWERS.
   No person whether owner, user, occupant or otherwise, shall cause to be deposited or discharged into, or permit to be deposited or discharged into any part of the city sanitary sewer system:
   (A)   Any corrosive, volatile, suffocating, inflammable or explosive liquid, gas, vapor or material of any kind.
   (B)   Any acid trade waste or effluent from the manufacture of chemicals or other products in which acid or chemicals are used as a part of the process of treatment or manufacture. Trade waste of this character, before being discharged into a sewer, shall be rendered alkaline and shall possess an oxygen consuming power not exceeding that of the ordinary domestic sewage.
   (C)   Any trade waste containing oily and greasy substances, soap or saponaceous substances likely to cause accretion on the side of the sewer and detrimentally affect sedimentation. Such trade waste, before being discharged into a sewer, shall be passed through efficient and approved traps.
   (D)   Any trade waste containing large quantities of hair or fibre, or similar substances which may obstruct the sewer or cause undue cleaning of the components of the treatment works. Such trade waste shall be either screened or coagulated and settled before being discharged into the sewer system.
   (E)   Any fish offal, garbage, dead animals, or obstructions of any kind, or the waste product of any abattoir or slaughter house.
   (F)   Any storm roof, surface water or drainage water of any kind, whatsoever.
   (G)   Any article or substance whatever that is likely to cause the sewerage system or connections to choke up or become obstructed.
