A. Prohibitions: It shall be unlawful for any person not having authority to do so to open any water hydrant or tamper with water utility services furnished by the city to consumers or in any other way to molest, damage or trespass upon any equipment or premises belonging to the city or used in connection with the city water system.
B. Damage Assessment Fee: Damage by the customer to any water hydrant or water utility service connection will result in a damage assessment fee of cost plus labor to be billed on the utility billing. In the event any billing, including the damage assessment, has not been paid, the utility service is subject to disconnection of service. (1996 Code § 13.04.070)
