Violation of this chapter, or of the regulations promulgated by the board and approved by the city council, shall constitute a petty misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars ($300.00) or by imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days or by both such fine and imprisonment.
