A. Officers: The board shall annually elect from its membership a president, vice-president and secretary. Officers of the board shall hold office for a term of one year.
B. Meetings: The board shall meet no less than nine (9) times per year at the Artesia Public Library and at the time set by the board and at other times upon the call of the chairman or a majority of the members of the board. Members of the Board may be dropped after three unexcused absences during any one (1) fiscal year.
C. Quorum: A majority of the members of the board constitutes a quorum for the transaction of business. The act of a majority of the board present shall be the act of the board. (Ord. 995, 4-26-2016; amd. Ord. 1064, 2-11-2020)
