(A) The town is hereby authorized to establish a schedule of rates and charges to be assessed for garbage removal services. The charges shall be placed on a customer’s utility statement and will be payable in advance and billed at least as often as quarterly.

(B) The town shall assess a monthly solid waste fee for the service of collection and disposal of residential municipal waste and collection and disposal of residential recyclable material. Such services and charges shall be rendered only to residential units and businesses within the boundaries of the corporate limits of the town.
(1) The monthly fee for businesses through the December 31, 2021, billing shall be billed at $29.70 billed per month, and residential customers to be billed at $19.20 per month, and collected in conjunction with other utility services provided by the town starting with the January 1, 2021, billing.
(2) The monthly fees, both business and residential, shall increase by 1.5% for the following one subsequent year to fulfill the current contract.
