§ 112.06 INSPECTIONS.
   (A)   No vehicle shall be authorized to operate as a taxicab on the town streets until it has been thoroughly and carefully inspected and found to be in a safe condition for the transportation of passengers.
   (B)   Inspection shall be made by authorized agencies appointed by the town. Any such agency shall have the right to recommend the refusal of a license if the vehicle is found to be unsuited for use, or if the license has already been issued, to recommend its suspension.
   (C)   Such certificate of inspection shall be presented to the Chief of Police at least every 90 days for his or her approval, after which it shall be displayed in the vehicle for ready reference by passengers.
   (D)   In addition, each taxicab shall have brakes and lights inspected each 30 days by the Police Department.
