The Town Council is hereby authorized to cause the erection of signs indicating no parking upon any street when the width of the roadway does not exceed 19 feet, or upon one side of the street if indicated by said signs when the width of the roadway does not exceed 30 feet. When official signs prohibiting parking are erected on narrow streets as authorized herein, no person shall park a vehicle upon any such street in violation of such sign.
