§ 73.06 REQUIRED EQUIPMENT.

   The following equipment is required on any motorized golf cart/UTV during operation upon the roadway of any street:

   (A)   A slow moving vehicle emblem securely mounted on the rear of the golf cart/UTV as required of other slow moving vehicles by ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 12-709;

   (B)   A rearview mirror, properly mounted on the golf cart/UTV so as to reflect to the operator a view of the street for a distance of at least 200 feet to the rear of the golf cart/UTV;

   (C)   Brakes and brake lights;

   (D)   Steering apparatus;

   (E)   A headlight that emits a white light visible from a distance of 500 feet to the front;

   (F)   A tail lamp that emits a red light visible from at least 100 feet from the rear; and

   (G)   Turn signals; front and rear.
