§ 50.50  DISPOSITION OF GARBAGE, RUBBISH, AND OTHER WASTE SUBSTANCES.
   (A)   There is hereby established a garbage collection fee for resident dwelling units, as previously defined, per month, per unit (family), as follows:

   (B)   Said garbage collection fee shall be billed and collected as part of the normal water and sewer billing system of the town.
   (C)   In the event that any individual garbage collection fee is paid later than five days after due date, an additional charge in the amount of 5% shall be assessed.
   (D)   This section shall apply to all residential dwelling units, as previously defined, located within the municipal boundaries of the town.
   (E)   Said garbage collection shall commence on April 1, 2018.
   (F)   The Clerk-Treasurer is authorized and directed to bill said households for such service along with other town utility billings. Said bill shall be in the amount of the price for such service as negotiated by the Town Council plus any service charge authorized by the Town Council, and the Town Council has determined that the monthly charge of the service plus administration and services charges total the amounts outlined in division (A).
   (G)   In the event a tenant fails and/or refuses to pay the monthly garbage collection fee, the landlord (owner of the real estate) shall be responsible to pay the same.
   (H)   In the event the occupant of the real estate (owner or renter) is not physically occupying the residence due to vacation or an extended stay elsewhere, the occupant of the real estate is still responsible to pay the monthly garbage collection fee.
