§ 33.055  PROMOTION OF TOWN BUSINESS.
   (A)   General. Town officials may incur expenses in promoting the best interest of the town. Such expenses may include, but not necessarily be limited to, the rental of meeting places, meals, decorations, memorabilia, awards, expenses incurred in interviewing job applicants, expenses incurred in promoting industrial, commercial and residential development, expenses incurred in developing relations with other units of government and any other expenses of a civic or governmental nature deemed by the Town Council to be in the interest of the town.
   (B)   Reimbursement of expenses. The expenses of town officials incurred in the accomplishment of the above activities are hereby authorized and may be reimbursed upon the presentment of an itemized invoice.
   (C)   Authorizing statute. This section was passed pursuant to I.C. 36-7-2-7.
