§ 32.23 RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS.

   The responsibilities and tasks for the LPT shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

   (A)   Create, define and delineate the area of the town’s wellhead protection plan;

   (B)   Develop and maintain a wellhead protection plan (WHPP) that is in compliance with IDEM’s requirements (327 I.A.C. 8-4.1);

   (C)   Provide an annual report to the Town Council on the progress of the town’s WHPP;

   (D)   Recommend and advise the Town Council as to changes which may be required and/or improvements which may be deemed necessary to the WHPP; and

   (E)   Act as the primary liaison with the county’s Wellhead Task Force and the state’s Department of Environmental Management for Wellhead issues.
