(A) Receive and care for all town moneys, and pay them out only on order of the town legislative body (Town Council);
(B) Keep accounts showing when and from what sources he or she has received town moneys, and when and to whom he or she has paid out town moneys;
(C) File each month with the legislative body (Town Council) a statement showing the receipts and disbursements of the town treasury for the preceding month and the balance remaining in each town fund;
(D) Keep his or her records open for inspection by the legislative body (Town Council) or a person appointed by the legislative body for that purpose;
(E) Maintain custody of the town seal and the records of the legislative body;
(F) Issue all licenses authorized by statute;
(G) Serve as clerk of the legislative body (Town Council) by attending its meetings and recording its proceedings; and
(H) Perform all other duties prescribed by law.
