§ 30.22  NUMBERING OF ORDINANCES.
From and after the passage of this code of ordinances, each ordinance passed shall be assigned a set of numbers as follows: the first two numbers shall correspond to the last two digits of the year in which the ordinance was passed; and the next number(s), which shall be separated by a hyphen from the first two numbers, shall represent the numerical order of passage of a particular ordinance during the calendar year in relation to other ordinances which may have been passed prior to it in the same year. For example, the first ordinance to be passed in 1984 shall be assigned the number 84-1 and the second ordinance to be passed shall bear the number 84-2 and the like.
