Any person, firm, corporation or other entity currently in the business of collecting, picking-up, disposing and/or hauling trash, garbage, rubbish, refuse and/or ashes over and along any of the streets or alleys of the town on the date of the passage of this chapter shall, within 60 days from the date of passage, comply with each and every term, provision and condition, including the licensing provision, contained herein, and the Clerk-Treasurer shall send a copy of this chapter along with an application for a license, by first class mail, to those persons, firms, corporations or other entities which are currently engaged in the business activity or operation covered by this chapter. Any person, firm or corporation currently in the business of picking up and/or disposing of trash, garbage, rubbish, refuse and ashes and ashes and who do not comply with each and every term of this chapter within 60 days from the date of its passage shall be subject to the penalties set forth in § 116.99 of this chapter.
